Community Guidelines

Movie Collector is a community of physical media collectors. To keep it safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, we enforce these guidelines across all user interactions — messages, listings, profiles, and activity.

Be Respectful

Treat other collectors the way you want to be treated
Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not
No hate speech, discrimination, threats, or harassment of any kind

Be Honest

Accurately describe item condition in your listings
Do not post fake listings or mislead buyers/traders
If something goes wrong in a transaction, communicate honestly

Keep It Clean

No profanity or vulgar language in messages or public content
No sexually explicit material
No spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertising

Stay Legal

Do not sell or trade stolen, counterfeit, or bootleg items
Do not facilitate any illegal activity through the App
Respect intellectual property rights

Report Problems

Use the Report button to flag messages, listings, or users that violate these guidelines
Do not engage with or retaliate against abusive users — report and block them

Consequences

Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in:

Content removal
Written warning
Temporary suspension (7–30 days)
Permanent account termination

Severe violations (threats, illegal activity, fraud) may result in immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.
